Review: Happy Bhaag Jayegi is a romantic comedy that is in the same direction as the recent cross-border movies like Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The movie tries to explore the heart of a young punjabi girl who wants to marry her college classmate Guddu (Ali Fazal) instead of a politician Bagga (Jimmy Shergill) chosen by her father (Kanwaljit Singh). The movie also depicts the lifestyle of a wealthy pakistani family living in Lahore. The movie does have some laugh out loud moments especially between Inspector Afridi and Bagga. The movie keeps a good grip in the first half but loses it in the second half. The final chase looks a bit funny but stretched a bit. All in all, I will give a rating of 3 out of 5 for the movie.
